Reservation Policy

Thank you for your interest in hosting your gathering at Big Lake Brewing! We accept reservations year-round. Please review our guidelines below before planning your visit or reaching out to our team.

  1. Standard Groups (Up to 13 Guests)
    • Online Booking & Waitlist: Parties of up to 13 guests can check timeslot availability, reserve a table, or join our live running waitlist directly online at biglakebrewing.com.
    • Walk-Ins: Walk-ins are always welcome and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis based on taproom capacity.

  1. Parties of 14 or More
    • Direct Booking Required: Any group of 14 or more must call the pub directly at (616) 796-8888 or contact our Event Coordinator, Liz McCoy, at Elizabeth.McCoy@biglakebrewing.com.

  1. Scheduled Events (14 – 40 Guests)
    • Advance Planning: Scheduled events cover groups ranging from 14 to 40 people and require at least 72 hours’ advance notice.
  •
    • Deposits: A deposit is required at the time of booking to lock in your date, time slot, and table arrangement.
    • Maximum Capacity: Due to our layout and open pub atmosphere, 40 people is our maximum group limit. We are unable to host parties larger than 40.

  1. Same-Day Requests
    • Walk-Ins & Same-Day Call-Aheads: Same-day group requests are handled differently than preplanned events. Seating depends entirely on real-time taproom volume and availability. Deposits and preplanned event arrangements do not apply to same-day requests.

  1. Space & Patio Guidelines
    • Community Pub Layout: We operate as an open, community-style pub and do not have a private back room. Group reservations are integrated into our main indoor dining space.
  •
    • Patio Policy: We do not take reservations or host private events on the patio. Because our patio does not have an enclosure or weather protection strategy, outdoor seating is kept open for walk-ins only. Individual patio tables seat a maximum of 6 guests.

A Note on Reservations:

Our goal is always to deliver an exceptional experience for your group and all of our pub guests. If we feel we cannot meet that standard due to peak traffic or space limits, we reserve the right to respectfully decline a reservation request.
